This is dependent on your local water chemistry.

Our water filter arrived on time but is not in use yet as I have bought it to replace the existing one, a Caple one, when it runs out. The filter arrived very quickly and I was pleased that the packaging was able to be recycled. Thank you also for the (free) isolation valve.
I am the first to admit to not being either very technically minded or practical but the instructions were dead easy to follow and I had removed my old filter and fitted the replacement filter within a couple of minutes. Then I turned the water off again, split the line into the new filter and fitted the isolation valve. Job done!
I am really, really pleased, not just with the filter itself but with the fact that I don't have water dripping under the sink anymoreand I can now easily isolate the filter to change it without having to turn off the cold supply to the regular tap.

I've always ordered the non anti scaling stillo type before but this filter fits just the same and also helps with limescale. It doesn't remove it completely but then I am in a VERY hard water area and it does make a big difference.
