Most undersink 15mm pipe in the UK is copper and accepts a simple self-cutting / saddle valve to connect your water filter.

But increasingly plumbers are fitting plastic pipes under sinks. The problem is you cannot use a saddle valve on a plastic pipe to connect your water filter.

With this adapter you can cut into your 15mm plastic pipe and place this adapter in line. It allows you to "T off" into a 1/4 inch OD tube.

(You can also use this unit on a copper pipe if you wish)

Cutting 15mm plastic pipe is fairly easy. It is a very quick job for a plumber or you could do it yourself. (Check YouTube for instructional videos)
