Stillo is simply a brand name. The thing to bear in mind is that the great majority of these water filters are basically the same.
They are made with Granular Activated Carbon - which to put it is simply, is burnt coconut shell that has been treated and is then pressed into a plastic tube - your filter cartridge.
Apart from a different label, and possibly some very minor variations in shape, these water filters are interchangeable.
When you are changing your water filter cartridge it's not unlike changing a light bulb.
You don't need to worry about who has made it. If your light bulb is branded you can easily replace it with another brand.
You simply want to make sure it fits your light socket.
How Easy is it to Change the Filter?
This is very simple. Full and easy fitting instructions are supplied.
Basically all you do basically is take the tubing out of your old filter and push them into your new one.
Tube Size
Our cartridges fit the standard Stillo tube size ie 3/8ths of an inch - ie 9.6 mm - outside diameter.
We also supply free tube adapters in case your tubing is different to the usual Stillo size.
If you need a different size simply call us and we'll sort it out for you quickly and at no extra cost.
Plus, as we said, if you don't like what you get simply send it back for a full refund.

Your filter cartridge will need changing every 6 months.

Male Inline Connectors The male connection - aka a spigot fits into an adapter on the end of your tubing
This is common for filters like Stillo, RangeMaster Bristan Empura and others.
The diameter of the male / spigot part is 3/8th of an inch or 9.6mm. If you have an inline filter with a different size spigot - which is unlikely - don't worry, we can supply adaptors. Simply let us know either before or after you order.
If you are not sure of your exact spigot size you can simply order the filter now and try it out. (It is very likely to fit). If you have any trouble fitting it we will help you sort out the adapters later. We'll send them out immediately.

Filter jug binned!!
For last 3 years we’d been purchasing our under sink cartridges from another supplier to help treat very hard water / scale area - been through endless amounts of kettles, filter jug cartridges, and products to clean shower screen -
Since purchasing the Anti-Scale Super taste cartridge from UK Water Filters, it’s like our lives have changed!
Firstly, we would usually filter water from tap in a filter jug for kettle use - no longer needed! Kettle has been looking shiny for a number of weeks use now!
On to shower: not only does the shower screen require less regular attention, the quality of shower water has improved dramatically!
Such a shame we only found this supplier and range of their other products recently :-(
Will most certainly be shopping again, and highly recommended already to friends and neighbours

Finding a replacement filter cartridge to fit our under sink filter system has been a struggle. We initially purchased the filter system with a Stillo filter cartridge from B&Q but they do not sell the replacement cartridges! We found the website for Stillo and discovered that their cartridges were quite expensive so decided to shop around. UKWaterFilters were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their cartridges were half the price of Stillo and because the borehole is slightly larger in diameter the water flows faster which makes them a better product. We have purchased filter cartridges from UKWaterFilters in the past for our fridge freezer and they have a great aftersales feature whereby they contact you 6 months later via email to remind you that the filter is ready for changing, you can then make a purchase or request another email reminder in a month or two. It also reminds you where you purchased the last one from so there's no need to try and find them again online. Like others we have searched for Stillo replacement filters. Had given up and not used the filtered water for some years. These replacements are excellent and very welcome at a good price.
4 minutes to get the old one off, two minutes to install the new one. Will add the leak protector when I change in 6 months time.
It took much longer to clear and sort all the accumulated stuff under the sink than it did to do the replacement!
