Replacement In line Water Filter Cartridge - Female Connectors
Top quality taste and odour in line water filter using Granular Activated Carbon technology to remove contaminants such as chlorine.
This can replace your existing in line water filter for any make, in your house, office or for a commercial application such as vending machines.
Fitting Your New Unit
This should be very easy. All you do basically is take the tubing out of your old filter and feed it through the compression nut fittings supplied into your new filter.
Full and easy fitting instructions are supplied.
More About The Female Connector
The female connection type is where the tube fits directly into the filter.
Our female connection filters are designed to fit plastic water tubes a quarter inch ie 6.4 mm outside diameter.
This is the size of the great majority of plastic tubing for water filters.
However if your tube size is different, no problem. We can supply adaptors. Simply let us know either before or after you order.
If you are not sure of your tube size you can simply order the filter now. We will help you sort out the adapters later. They will still be free. We'll send them out immediately. It really is very simple.
If you need tube adaptors, they usually cost £4.

This filter is great for removing chlorine and other contaminants, giving you fresh, great tasting water. If you also want your new filter to be anti-scale please click here
Warning; it's more expensive so if you're not too worried about scale - ie the hard white stuff you see in your kettle then just stick with this filter. (Scale isn't "bad" for you. It's only bad for your kettle and sometimes causes the film you see on your tea / coffee.

Accepts 1/4 inch (6.4mm) Tubing. This is the standard size for the great majority of water filters. If your tube is a different size - which is unlikely - don't worry, we can supply adaptors. These cost around £4 - depending on the exact size required. You will only need to buy them once.

We installed a Britta tap a few years ago to deliver filtered water but the cartridges were very expensive indeed (£30 every 3 months). Then we discovered these filters at £15 ish every six months. Not only do they do the same job its almost 4 times cheaper! For the first time I decided that I could replace the water filter myself, but couldn't get an exact replacement to the filter I had. I made a call to UK water filters... Didn't leave a message cos they were closed, but they returned my missed call!! How good was that?

Once I'd found the isolating screw under the sink this took all of 2 mins to fit. Instructions are clear, product seems good quality and it arrived very quickly. Means I can throw away my Brita filter jug!
